At the risk of turning into the every two weeks podcast, I'm afraid to report that there will be no podcast this week.  My schedule blew up on me and we couldn't get together to record.  But we are working on something special to make it up.

This week we were lazy and decided to give you a piece of our world. A demonstration, if you will, of the way we converse on an everyday basis. It is very random and we have no idea what will come up... Well, I do but then, I just spent the last couple of hours editing it. We will leave it up to you to discover.

But I can tell you that we announced our next book selection: Singularity by Bill DeSmedt. It is an audiobook and it can be downloaded for free from Podiobooks.com. It is something a little different so I hope you all enjoy.

Thanks go to Florida Zack who let us know about Nathan Fillion's new show, Drive. (It is on Fox so be careful about getting too attached.) And also to Bob who had some questions about the music episode we would like to do in a few weeks. The music we would like requested needs to be podshow friendly and we will need to be able to reference back to the artist in the shownotes. Basically, the less complicated, the better. Hey guys, we are back! Thanks for the understanding, it was greatly appreciated but we are here tonight to talk about two new comics that can be found on your favourite comic book stand. If you don't have a favourite comic shop, you should give ComicHunter.net a try. They are awesome.

This week, we have New Universal by Warren Ellis from Marvel comics and Scalped by Jason Aaron from Vertigo. Two very different reads and two split decisions. Here is an interview with Warren Ellis you might like to check out and one with the artist, Salvador Larroca,that gives a very nice preview of his gorgeous artwork.
