Quick note to let you all know that we will be podcasting about The Dark Knight movie tonight.  If any of you want to get your opinions in, please post them here, or send them via email.

Hi everyone.  Chris here to explain a little bit about the recent, unexpected hiatus.  As most of you know, I am working and studying for my PhD at the same time.  This takes up a serious amount of time.  Of late though, I have had to try to finish the work that I have left for my PhD and see about graduating, lest someone steals my data and I lose all chances of ever finishing my grad studies.  So please excuse our lack of updates.  We should be back though mid-June, hope to see you all then.

Two Girls and a Podcast lives again!  Ok, I will try to be a little less dramatic.  Elizabeth and I have just finished recording our comeback episode, and all things working out, I will have it edited for you all by the end of the week.  In the meantime, I wanted to leave you all with the wish to hear from you all very soon.

Just on the off chance one of you hasn't given up on us, we're sorry to say that it doesn't look we are going to get our act together concerning the podcast. We are pulling the plug.

We loved doing it and we miss it, especially the people we got to meet because of the podcast. Between family, work, various charities, somebody's movie addiction, home, global warming, computer woes and the hotness of Christian Bale, the podcast sort of got lost on our priority lists.

We would like to take a moment to say a few things:

1. We had a split vote on Singularity. One of us liked it and one of us didn't. We'll let you guess which was which. But you should check it out if you like your science fiction sciencey and just check out PodioBooks.com in general. (Currently listening to In Search of #6 by Damon Timm; would highly recommend but it isn't sci-fi or fantasy.)
2. If you are not watching Stargate Atlantis, you really should be. And we also like the new shows Reaper and Chuck ('cause it has Adam Baldwin!!! and it is funny too.)
3. Whenever you need a comic fix, visit ComicHunter.net. (They can find anything and we had to say something in parentheses.)

This isn't goodbye, it's 'til next time.

Due to some major family problems on my side, we will be on hiatus until further notice.  Sorry about the short notice.

Just on the off chance you are Canadian and a Doctor Who fan and might not already know this, CBC is playing the Christmas Special "The Runaway Bride" Monday night (June 11th).  Sort of a Christmas in June type of thing.  And the Monday after that, June 18th, they are going to start airing series three, the ones with the new Companion, Martha.  Yay!

In an unrelated note, they airred the Spaceys tonight and guess who won Viewer Fave TV Character.... hehe "In your face, Jack Bauer!" Take a listen to podcast #51 if you want to know who we were hoping to win.

I know we haven't posted anything for a little bit, but you will have to be patient for a little longer. Between unexpected business trips and broken equipment (all on my part at that), Eliz and I have not had the chance to record anything yet again. But fear not, we will be putting something together this week, so expect our return next Friday.

At the risk of turning into the every two weeks podcast, I'm afraid to report that there will be no podcast this week.  My schedule blew up on me and we couldn't get together to record.  But we are working on something special to make it up.

Hello folks!

I'm sorry to say that our regularly scheduled podcast will be delayed for a day. The Doctor is being most difficult. But that doesn't mean that you won't get your fix of our shtick. We did a little guest appearance on Fanboy Smackdown and you should check it out. We reviewed the movie Casino Royale and had some fun with the world of James Bond.

I'm especially proud of the show notes. ;)

Hi everyone, Chris here. We thought it might be a good idea to post instructions for appreciation show submissions. Well you know, in case you were interested in submitting something for us. Which we hope you are. In any case, here is what we are hoping you will do:

1. Send us an email or voicemail or leave a comment on the board (why not put it in this post even?) in which you tell us: how you found Two Girls and a Podcast, which episode you first listened to (if you can remember) and what made you decide to stick around.

-or-

2. Send us a bumper for the show. Basically the best would be an audio clip like you would send "This is [your name here], and you are listening to Two Girls and a Podcast" or some such variation.

-or-

3. Send a "This week is brought to you by the letter" and pick a letter.

Please note that you can do any of the 3 options or if you want, you can do all of them. (Personally I am hoping for a lot of 1 and 2). Another important note, these are only guidelines to give you ideas of what to send in. Please feel free to send us anything you want.

The deadline for submissions is Monday, September 25. We will be recording the appreciation episode on Tuesday. Remember everyone, Eliz wants you to make our inbox blow up. Think of how much fun it would be if you actually managed to do it!

Ok, yeah I am the pathetic kind of person who just loves turning another year older. I don't like presents really, but I do love hearing people say Happy Birthday. So please make me all happy today and leave me loads of happy birthday wishes.

And in case anyone was wondering, I have just turned 30. Yay! Starting up a new decade. Life is wonderful.

Sorry folks but our episode #17, which is a love fest of all things Harry Potter (just kidding!) is going to be a little late this week.  Both Chris and I have have been travelling and we somehow recorded twice (literally) the amount for one typical episode.  So, all factors considered, it has been a challenging week to get this puppy edited up. 

But never fear, we will have something for you tomorrow.
